/drawdraws a chart or a diagram in the conversation./artifactbuilds a web page about the space, at a link you can share.

typing.
Draw a chart or diagram
Type/draw followed by what you want to see:
- A chart (bar, line, area, pie or scatter) when you ask about numbers.
- A diagram (flowchart, sequence, state, mind map or timeline) when you ask about a process or a structure.
- A Copy Mermaid button, so you can paste the chart or diagram into any tool that reads Mermaid, such as GitHub, Notion or the Mermaid Live Editor. Scatter charts have no Mermaid equivalent, so they have no button, and neither does a pie chart holding a negative value, which Mermaid rejects.
+, -, 0 (fit) and 1 (actual size) keys, and drag
it, or scroll, to move around. Escape closes it.
Every number, step and label comes from the space’s memories. If they don’t hold what
you asked for, you get a sentence saying so instead of a made-up chart.
What it doesn’t do
A drawing is marked Not saved to memory: neither your request nor the answer is
recorded in the space. That is also why read-only members of a space can use /draw.
Cost: one chat turn, the same as asking a question.
Build an artifact
An artifact is a single web page built from what a space holds: an overview of a project, a summary of decisions, a status page. It’s how you give someone the gist of a space without giving them access to the space. Type/artifact followed by what the page should cover:
- You need write access to the space. Read-only members can open artifacts others share, but can’t create them.
- One artifact builds per space at a time.
- An artifact is a snapshot. Memories you add or delete later don’t change a page that’s already built; build a new one instead.
Share an artifact
Every artifact starts private. Change who can open it from the card in Ask, from the Artifacts tab, or from the page itself:
Only the space owner can choose Anyone with the link. A public page keeps showing
what it was built from, even if those memories are deleted later, so check it before
you send it.
Anyone can open a page someone shared with them, but they can’t change it. The person
who built it and the space owner can change its sharing or delete it. Deleting an
artifact breaks its link straight away.
