# Anona Compute

> Secure microVM sandboxes for AI agents. Works with the E2B SDK.

Anona Compute gives every AI agent its own computer: a KVM microVM with its own kernel, filesystem and network policy. Agents run code, move files, start long-lived processes, drive a desktop, and pause and resume with memory intact.

## Set up with your agent

Paste this into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. It installs the CLI, asks you to approve one sign-in, registers the MCP server and proves it works with a sandbox.

```text paste-into-your-agent theme={null}
Set up Anona Compute for me. Fetch https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/agents/onboarding-prompt.md and follow it.
## Or point the E2B SDK at Anona
The API is compatible with the E2B SDK. Point the stock `e2b` package at Anona with two environment variables, or use the Anona SDK extras for live view and SSH.
```bash setup.sh theme={null}
export E2B_DOMAIN=compute.anonalabs.com
export E2B_API_KEY=e2b_YOUR_API_KEY
```
## What you get
| | |
| - | - |
| **Isolation** | One KVM microVM per sandbox, behind a gateway that checks every request. See [Security](https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/concepts/security.md). |
| **E2B compatibility** | The `e2b` Python and JavaScript SDKs (checked with 2.20.3, 2.51.0 and 2.61.0): create, connect, commands, files, PTY, pause and resume. See [Migrate from E2B](https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/migrate-from-e2b.md). |
| **Long-running sandboxes** | No lifetime limit on paid plans, and pause on timeout instead of delete. See [Lifecycle](https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/concepts/lifecycle.md). |
| **Live view** | Watch or take over a sandbox's terminal or desktop in your own page. See [Live view](https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/guides/live-view.md). |
| **SSH** | `anona-compute ssh`, `scp`, port forwarding and VS Code Remote, with 10-minute certificates. See [SSH](https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/guides/ssh.md). |
| **Egress control** | Per-sandbox allow and deny lists on top of a platform floor that always blocks private ranges and cloud metadata. See [Networking](https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/concepts/networking.md). |
| **Usage pricing** | You pay for active vCPU time and resident memory, not wall-clock time. See [Pricing](https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/pricing.md). |
| Piece | What it is |
| - | - |
| API | `https://api.compute.anonalabs.com`, the E2B-compatible gateway |
| Dashboard | [app.compute.anonalabs.com](https://app.compute.anonalabs.com): sign-in, API keys, sandboxes, usage |
| CLI | `anona-compute`: sign in, sandbox lifecycle, exec, ssh, live view, and an MCP server for agents |
| SDK extras | `anona` (Python) and `@anona/sdk` (TypeScript): subclasses of the E2B `Sandbox` with `live` and `ssh` |
> Anona Compute is in preview. Pages mark anything not available yet as **Coming soon**, and anything built but not yet proven on the production fleet says so where it matters. Preview pricing is not charged.
