# anona-compute create

> Create sandboxes

```text theme={null}
Create one or more sandboxes (POST /v2/sandboxes) and print their IDs.
CPU and memory come from the template; the E2B create request has no fields
for them.
```

## Usage

```text theme={null}
anona-compute create [flags]
```

**Aliases:** `create`, `new`

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `--auto-pause` | | pause instead of delete when the timeout ends |
| `--count` | int | number of sandboxes to create (1-100) (default 1) |
| `--env`, `-e` | stringArray | environment variable KEY=VALUE for the sandbox (repeatable) |
| `--fail-fast` | | with --count, stop at the first failure |
| `--help`, `-h` | | help for create |
| `--metadata` | stringArray | metadata KEY=VALUE (repeatable) |
| `--no-internet` | | create the sandbox without internet access |
| `--template`, `-t` | string | template ID or alias (default: profile default\_template, else "base") |
| `--timeout` | string | sandbox lifetime before it is deleted or paused (e.g. 300s, 1h) (default "300s") |

Global flags (`--api-key`, `--api-url`, `--json`, `--output`, `--profile`, `--request-timeout`, `--verbose`) work on every command; see [anona-compute](https://docs.anonalabs.com/compute/cli/reference/anona-compute.md).
